Overnight Camping
Camp overnight at the Preserve at Water Ranch. Facility can accommodate
10 tents. One and two night camp sites available. Reservations required.
Fee is $30.00 per night. Campfires permitted and restrooms available.
The troop/group is responsible for providing food, gear, and firewood.

Scout
Tours and Badge Work
We offer a variety of guided group activities, designed to cover
some badge work achievements for both boy scout and girl scout programs.
Fee for a badge program is $5 per participant, with a minimum of $45 per group. Smaller groups are encouraged to combine with another small troop or den if needed to meet the minimum requirement.

Other
Youth Groups
We offer a variety of group activities at the preserve, such as
bird walks, nature hikes, dinosaur and archaeological digs, astronomy viewings,
and camping. We can also provide group lessons on conservation, ecology,
water, plants and wildlife.
Fee for a youth program is $5 per participant, with a minimum of $45 per group.

Learning Materials
Riparian Preserve Field Guides are available for sale at the Parks and Recreation Counter, 90 E. Civic Center Drive. These guides provide a wonderful opportunity for scouts and youth to study the various birds and vegetation of the Preserve. Cost is $6 each.
