Donors/Sponsors
Dear Potential Sponsors and Donors,
This letter is to invite you and your organization or business to participate in our
annual Feathered Friends Festival to be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The
Festival is held from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Riparian Nature Preserve at
Water Ranch, just east of the Southeast Regional Library in Gilbert, on the SE
corner of Greenfield and Guadalupe Roads. The festival is attended by
approximately 2,000 visitors from the surrounding Gilbert and Phoenix metro
areas. Many community volunteers contribute their time and creative talents to
providing interactive games, activities, and displays that involve children and
adults in learning about Arizona's precious desert and riparian habitats.
Goals
Our first goal is to provide a fun and safe venue for community education,
promoting appreciation for the living things of the Sonoran desert.
Our second goal is to encourage the community to educate each other through
outstanding displays and activities.
A third goal is to keep the festival accessible to the community and our costs low,
using any proceeds towards the Riparian Institute's year-round educational
programming.
Current Needs
Gifts in kind or cash donations for
Shade canopies for activities and exhibitors to protect wildlife, or the
elderly and children manning those tables at approximately $200 each
Table and Chair rentals, at approximately $500
Contributors will be noted on signs at the festival and on our web pages.
Donations to the Riparian Institute, tax ID#86-1018159 are tax deductable. Please feel
free to contact me at any time before March 20 to make a donation, or if you have any
questions about the festival!
Sincerely,
